Babble's Top 100 Mom Blogs of 2011
Michelle Boudreaux of Mihow
Her Rankings
- #92 Babble Best
To read Michele Boudreaux’s fantastic blog is an exercise in the unexpected. On the one hand, it’s your traditional mom blog. A graphic designer / stay-at-home mom writes about her Brooklyn-based life as mother to her adorable toddler son, Emory. Yet Michele’s also not afraid to write about REM. Or ask her readers to Rate Her Stitches. Nor is she shy about showcasing lollipops infused with bacon bits, a Mihow original, it would seem, from her Etsy page.
Not into bacon-flavored lollipops? Perhaps you should simply Behold, the Cake. Just know that her confectionary masterpiece (it’s really quite elegant) includes a sugary cockroach on top. It’s refreshing to read a mom blog that’s as much about the quirky and multi-talented mom as it is about the child she raises. Especially when it’s as well written as Mihow.

A mother is the truest friend we have, when trials heavy and sudden, fall upon us; when adversity takes the place of prosperity; when friends who rejoice with us in our sunshine desert us; when trouble thickens around us, still will she cling to us, and endeavor by her kind precepts and counsels to dissipate the clouds of darkness, and cause peace to return to our hearts.
