WTF Kid, I Hope You Are Laughing Too

Child Labeled as "WTF Kid"

Do you put pictures of your kids on the internet?

How about videos?

I do.

I must admit, however, now that my son is the ripe old age of 6 (his birthday was yesterday) I’m much more conscious of what I share. There’s a lot more at stake for a school age child than a cute toddler.

Like being labeled “The WTF Kid” for the rest of your life.

The video is funny. There is no doubt about it. But you know how people are. Watching it I couldn’t stop imagining mean kids impersonating him on the playground. He runs home crying from the constant needling. Scarred for life by the countless parody videos made from a few seconds of his life.

Hopefully his parents are raising him to have thick skin. The ability to laugh at yourself, especially in this day and age, is a matter of survival.
