Young Laura Fontana As "Mini Lady Gaga" Now A World Sensation (Video)
I missed 8-year old YouTube sensation Laura Fontana’s intriguing performance as Lady Gaga for the Brazilian talent show Qual e o Seu Talento last year, zooming her into the spotlight and viral video world. She’s still making videos known as the Mini Lady Gaga, and is becoming quite the sensation.
So, I watched the Bad Romance video featured below and thought she was adorable – no doubt- and she can sing, but. Yikes. Not sure I can say much more. You can watch the video and decide for yourself. I just hope she’s having fun with it and it’s her own choice to be like Lady Gaga. (I’m remembering the days I wanted to be Tiffany or Debbie Gibson and sometimes Madonna, so.)
Awesome or inappropriate? Possibly going on tour with Lady Gaga in the next few years? You never know…

Meh.. she’s ok. It doesn’t seem to inappropriate to me, either. Aside from the lyrics being mature, obviously.. but when I was young I sang all the Britney Spears songs and they mean absolutely nothing to me.. they were just fun songs. So, I don’t know, it seems like innocent fun to me. Although I’d say her singing and dancing is just so-so.
I have to say that at 7-8yrs old, I was choreographing dance routines with friends to Madonna’s Like a Virgin and performing them for anyone who would watch. We even had little outfits that we wore every time, which back then maybe we just thought were cool – not really getting what ‘sexy’ was, but certainly that’s what we were going for. I did have teenage sisters, so you know. Osmosis.
Anyway, my two cents: meh on the talent. Not sure it’s viral-worthy, and yes re: inappropriate content, but so much of the music little girls (kids?) are obsessed with is way over their heads and too sexual for their age.
too boring to even finish watching. I was expecting much better.
I have to say I’m not sure I’m a fan. The girl is cute and adorable but I think Lady Gaga is a bit much for her age. I wonder if she asks her mom what the lyrics mean. She is learning them and singing them as she practices over and over again.
For me it’s too much. Kids are only kids for such a short time in life and this seems like something that might push her to grow up just a bit faster, ya know?
