As part of their graduation ceremony, the Kindergarten class at Los Angeles’ Olympic Primary Care performed Cyndi Lauper’s classic 1980s hit, “True Colors.” The children sang and also performed the lyrics in American Sign Language, holding up mirrors to the audience with the messages “you are good” and “you are perfect.”

The lesson learned: love yourself, and always show love, kindness, and respect to others no matter who they are. Regardless of ethnicity, sex, gender, religious creed, or sexual orientation, EVERYONE is worthy of love.
