Your Morning Cry: Military Parents' Surprise Reunion with Children (Video)

When 11-year-old Tashia and 9-year-old Tru were taken on a trip to the airport on Thursday they thought they were going on a tour of the facilities with Tru’s boy scout troop, Fox News Reports. Little did they know, they were in for a big surprise. The brother and sister are currently living with their grandparents while both their mother and father complete a tour of duty with a U.S. Army parachute-jumping unit in Afghanistan.

The children’s mother, Isela Ulman, is currently on her second trip overseas while their father, Travis, completes his first. The Ulman’s have been gone since October. The couple said that they didn’t tell their family about the visit home until hours before their arrival and their children were not aware that their parents were home until they spotted them across the airport terminal.

It’s impossible not to feel weepy watching Tashia and Tru lock eyes on their mom and dad and sprint to them for a tearful embrace.

The couple will be home for two weeks before returning to Afghanistan until October.
