Helen Cavallo That's FreshThinking about encouraging your kids to get involved in the kitchen? Maybe they’re already whipping up some amazing fruit parfaits. Well here’s some great news.

This Monday, May 6th, Disney Junior debuts “That’s Fresh: For Kids.” Sponsored by Babble, this new version of the popular Disney Junior Night Light cooking series “That’s Fresh,” will feature new episodes every morning. The series encourages young viewers to participate in the kitchen and emphasizes the importance of healthy eating.

In each episode, Chef Helen Cavallo prepares simple, nutritious recipes requiring no sharp objects or cooking. This allows young viewers to safely assist their parents or caregivers at home.

Featured recipes include Veggie Rolls, Fruit Kabobs, Trail Mix, Berry Pops and Doc McStuffins’ No Bake Muffins.

All “That’s Fresh: For Kids” recipes are Mickey Check-approved, meaning they meet Disney Nutrition Guidelines limiting calories, saturated fat, sodium and sugar.

Please check out this sneak peek of “That’s Fresh: For Kids,” and we’ll see you starting Monday:
