10 Cats Who Deserve an Apology

Saying you’re sorry is never easy, but sometimes it is an important thing to do. No one is perfect, and no one should expect perfection so when he or she messes up — that’s where that “sorry” should come into play — yes, even when we owe an apology to our pets.

There have definitely been times when I’ve needed to tell my cats I’m sorry. They have caught me at bad moments when I’ve been crazy stressed out, or when I am not feeling like anything going right — and, sometimes, they catch the brunt of it. All they want to do is cuddle and help me feel better (because that’s how loving cats are!), but I delay and get angry when all they want to do is snuggle up beside me. It’s not fair, and while it doesn’t happen often, that’s where the sorry comes into play.

If you’ve had a bad day and take it out on your cat, let them down by forgetting something, or perhaps take a light-hearted joke a little too far, don’t make an even bigger mistake and forget to say you’re sorry.

Click through and see 10 cats who clearly deserve an apology (if only you’d give them one!):
