Still, there are many ways to enjoy the day even without a Valentine. Going out with family and friends is a fabulous way to spend it and of course, what can be better than sharing some down time with our favorite pooch?

After all, they don’t call it puppy love for nothing. Anyone who has ever brought home a puppy to love knows that it can feel very much like falling in love. The happy serotonin released in our brains is actually quite similar to that of the hormones released when we fall in love.
