The 12 Days of Christmas, Pets Style!

FacebookTwitterGoogle+TumblrPinterest

The Twelve Days of Christmas is a classic carol that I have enjoyed rewriting on many occasions over the years. The original 12 gifts in the song go as follows:

  • 12 Drummers Drumming
  • 11 Pipers Piping
  • 10 Lords-a-Leaping
  • 9 Ladies Dancing
  • 8 Maids-a-Milking
  • 7 Swans-a-Swimming
  • 6 Geese-a-Laying
  • 5 Gold Rings
  • 4 Colly Birds (sometime mistakenly sung as “calling birds,” see this nice explanation)
  • 3 French Hens
  • 2 Turtle Doves
  • And a Partridge in a Pear Tree.

The pet’s version would be different of course! And luckily I have it here for your enjoyment. I’m sure that your pets would be happy if you used it as a gift guide too!
