20 Amazing and a Little Terrifying Digital Animal Mash-ups

Have you ever looked at an animal and found yourself to be lost, staring at this unusual creature. Even looking at a house cat closely, you can get stopped in your tracks taking in all the intricate patterns of their fur and looking at the different specks of color in their eyes. There is so much that makes each animal interesting and unique in their own right.

The super talented and creative digital artist John McMenamin takes these interesting and sometimes terrifying animals and makes them even more so — one way or the other. Using his digital genius, he takes two unsuspecting animals and mashes them up, digitally, to make creatures that are sometimes even more adorable than the original and other times, more terrifying — and I hope they never end up in real existence.

Take a peek at some of the fun digital taxidermy animal mash-ups and tell me, which one do you hope becomes real one day and which one do you hope never becomes real?
