20 Reasons Why Cats Are Awesome
I can’t believe that I have to write this list — I mean, how can someone not LOVE cats the way I do? They are the most amazing pet in the world and yeah, I might be a total cat lover.
For those of you who are with me — sane and love cats — this list will just be an awesome refresher on why you love the most amazing pet in the world. For those of you, who for reasons I can not understand, don’t get cats — this list is basically proof that they are the most amazing animal and is bound to convince you of that.
From the eyes to the toes and all things in between, I have shortened the list to include only 20 reason why cats are just the cat’s pajamas because really, I could go on forever.

I’m glad that there are others who feel the way I do about cats! They have always been a source of comfort to me, all of my life, and are very special pets. With the exception of human babies, there is nothing sweeter and cuter than a tiny baby kitten!
These photos are awesome. The descriptions “on the money”. Cats really are so unique and wonderful. Espescially love “indoor Voice” soooo cute!!
Love cats – I have 3 of them – 2 “alley cats” 1 is Himalayan – wouldn’t trade them for anything – they own me and they know it- if I were rich probably would own a bzillion of them…..

whoever thinks cats have ‘indoor voices’ only have not dealt with cats in heat. nothing stops the noise – even if you hurl a tank at them…
I absolutely love this site ! I am crazy about cats! I have 9 of them. Actually 3 belong to my daughter but she is living with me right now and combined with my 6 gives us one big happy family of 9. They can get in some of the craziest places and they make me laugh. If I have had a hard day or I am in a bad mood they somehow know and they come and cheer me up. They are very, very intuitive, curious and smart !
I love my cat BUT it was not at its happyest till i gave it a cat condo about 6 1/2 feet high. Now its the greatest cat alive!
I have to disagree with the next-to-last picture. That cat is not angry, though the ears may suggest mild irritation. Usually when a cat has their eyes wide-open they are at play or alert and on guard, perhaps even frightened. The squinty expression we tend to read as anger or resentment is actually them feeling content or safe- it’s their non-alert expression which is appropriate only among family and friends. When you see a cat giving you squinty eyes it means they count you among that inner circle.
true true true and true cats are definitely all those things and more especially the you will know when they like you bit have three two love me and one loves guys and all three of them pretty much avoid my sister unless she si teh only one out in the living room if i am out ther my two are like “ohhhh mommy’s lap is free.” cats are awesome
Love CATS! I love each one’s individual personality. Can’t ever imagine not having one.
My constant & faithful companion has been my guardian angel MANY times through the last 18 years. His name is Bruno, and he IS the love of my life!! I am a brittle diabetic and have been rescued by him when I’m going into a coma so many times…. he is my miracle baby! YAY for kitties!!
I have two, both rescue cats, as different as two cats can be. They are so much fun. Life wouldn’t be as good without them.
