I am pretty sure the internet was made just for us cat lovers. Cats are everywhere on here — and this post is kind of proof of that. People love searching for fun cat GIF’s, following their favorite cats on social media, and nothing will make your day brighter than cat images.
Just ask the people of Imgur.
Now, the internet has a home for cats instead of just because of them thanks to the funny peoples at Buzzfeed. We know that us people love looking at articles and collections of cats, but that serves little interest to cats. They don’t want to hear how cute we think they are or how dogs may be really sweet also. Thanks to catinternet from Buzzfeed, cats have an internet home just for them filled with photo collections and articles that they care about.
Gone from catinternet are posts like wackiest cat names, cute photos of dogs, and in are posts like 7 Of The Most Obnoxious Dog’s Rights Activists, 22 Things To Do With This Thing You Just Found On The Floor, and 10 Reasons Why You Should Never Share Your Bed With A Human.
Sure, we don’t understand why an image of a moving red dot is of great appeal, but cats love it. I have a feeling even Grumpy Cat will find something she likes on catinternet or at least there’s now another place for her to share her natural hate for all things.
My lovely cat Ariel woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning (photo proof there for you) and was not impressed I was spending more time on the Internet staring at pictures of cats. I plan to show her the new space for her, when she wakes up from her epic make-me-jealous nap and maybe, just maybe she’ll cheer up.
If you want to take your cat’s bad mood and turn it good — head over to Buzzfeed and check out the new Catinternet!
