Cool Cat Extremely Unimpressed by 5.2-Magnitude Earthquake

Mother Nature, you're harshing my mellow.

Pets are supposed to be really “in tune” with natural disasters, right? I guess Australian cat Steven didn’t get that memo, because he is completely nonplussed by a 5.2 magnitude earthquake in Melbourne, Australia last week. Unless maybe he doesn’t always rock out on the guitar?

There’s been some debate on the Interwebz as to whether this video is real or just a shaky-handed cameraman.

However, there was indeed an earthquake in Melbourne on June 19. It is reported as a 5.2 magnitude quake, not 6.3 as Steven’s owner said in the YouTube description. Australia’s Sky News reported that the quake rattled houses for 30 to 40 seconds, and no one was injured.

What do you think: real or fake? My take: who cares? It’s funny.
