Family Insists Their Wildcat isn't Wild

An African wildcat, like the one who belongs to the Canadian family, can look a lot like a large house cat, but with bigger ears and a shorter tail.

A Saskatchewan, Canada, family has been told their African Wildcat must go. This family says their wildcat, whose name is Jagger, is harmless.  Jagger’s family say he has been declawed and neutered and poses no threat to anyone.

The family received a letter from the government saying they had until the end of the month to find another home for their pet. There was no word on how the government found out about the wildcat or how the family originally obtained him. Jagger’s family did say that if they lose their fight against the government they will move to wherever Jagger will be welcome.
