Fine People of Babble, Meet Wesley, the Pup

Hi Babble-rs! Andrea here. You may know me as the manager of blogs & social media on this here Babble site, but what you may not know about me is that I am a HUGE pet lover. Cats, dogs, hamsters, rabbits, you name it, I’ve pet(ted?) it. ANYWAY, since I live in a teensy-tiny apartment in New York City, I have zero room for pets. Insert sad face. Case in point: I had a kitten named Tesco for a short stint, but my bathroom was too small to fit her litter box and believe me when I say you do NOT want a litter box in your bedroom. Ruins the whole ambiance, ya know? So Tesco traveled back to Chicago with me (my hometown) to meet a lovely couple who could give her all the space her furry self needed. (Not after a very interesting experience at La Guardia airport, though. Cringe.) Back to the point of this post: Since I don’t have animals due to lack of space, I compensate by enjoying my friend’s pets. My BFF, Karolyn, lives in Boulder, Colorado and adopted a puppy named Wesley from a no-kill shelter in Oklahoma. He’s part beagle/Golden retriever/German shepherd. I was fortunate to meet the little guy during Christmas and I thought I’d introduce you to him, too. Why? Because he’s the cutest thing ever. (I know, I know, everyone says that *their* pet is the cutest thing ever, but really. Look at these pics and tell me you disagree.) Happy Saturday, everyone. Woof.

Disclaimer: This post has absolutely no service angle whatsoever. It’s main purpose is to provide you with a smile.

P.S. See all the pics after the jump!
