I Swear I'm Not a 'Cat Lady', But Mine Are Awesome

Hello & welcome to the new Babble Pets blog! The perfect place for the other members of our family who mean the world to us, just like our kids do. I have two cats that have been with me for 15 years — I’ve known them longer then my husband and my three children and really are amazing cats.

Both are male, they are cousins who are really only about 6 months apart in age. They have been together, with me, since birth and are the two most awesome cats ever. They have the perfect amount of snobbery with the right amount of attention-seeking qualities. They live indoors with me, my husband and three children and while they drive me crazy at times and I sometimes wonder if they are trying to kill me, they are pretty awesome.

Now, let me formally introduce you to the two most amazing cats in the world (I really do sound like a ‘cat lady’):

    Meet 'Puppy'
Well, really his name is Puff, but I have been calling him 'puppy' forever. He is 15 years old, fuzzy and black with grey poking through.

    Meet 'Ming-Ming'
Puppy's brother from a sister-mother, he is 14 years old, bright green eyes and has white under his chin.

    He Has Cat-attude
Puppy is your typical snobby-cat. He has been my 'baby' since I was 15 years old and rarely leaves my side.

  • He is Totally Spacy 4 of 6
    He is Totally Spacy
I swear Ming-Ming is off in his own world most of the time. He has a cute, quiet voice and never really seems to know what's going on.

  • I’ve Had Them Forever! 5 of 6
    I've Had Them Forever!
Their moms were my cats growing up - both had litters about 6 months apart and from one came Puppy, and Ming-Ming from the other. Cousins, really.

  • They Are Best Friends 6 of 6
    They Are Best Friends
These two love each other. They cuddle, the clean, they fight and they love each other. I don't want to think about what would happen if the other was no longer here. They are inseparable.
