Oh, sure. She looks cute and harmless in that photo to the left. But make no mistake. My cat is a living, breathing alarm clock poised to strike at approximately 6:30 AM every morning. (Sometimes I get a reprieve on the weekend until 8 or so.) I swear that she waits all night for the minute that she can pounce on top of me to start meowing and demanding food.
Still, I can’t help it. I love the crazy kitten.
We’ve been best buddies for going on two years now. Friends of a former co-worker had rescued Marty and some of her siblings from an animal shelter. The litter was due to be exterminated. To this day, I’m super grateful that they saved this little brat so that I could spoil her and let her know that she’s the Maddox Jolie-Pitt of cats.
Despite the fact that she will only eat one kind of cat food that must be readily available to her at all times, she is my pet and she’s pretty freaking cute.
I’ll turn it over to Marty now so you can get to know her a little bit! - Lindsay Hood
