Michigan Cats Snuggle With Abandoned Baby Robin

Michigan cats mother baby bird, baby robin has cat mothers, baby bird care, cats and birds, cats motherly instinct

Like the old saying goes, 'a picture's worth a thousand words...'

Who says there is no chance for world peace? In the animal kingdom at least, it looks like there just might be some hope.

In Michigan, three cats have sort of taken in a baby robin since the cats’ owner found the bird two weeks ago in her backyard.

The NY Daily News reports that Karin Caston who lives in Allegan County’s Otsego Township, 35 miles south of Grand Rapids named the bird Peeps after she found it left alone in her yard.

Caston took it into her own, which she shares with three cats, and tried her best to help the baby bird flourish. Initially, she kept the bird away from the cats but soon she noticed that the cats were taking a liking to little Peeps.

Peeps actually has her own cage but rather sleep on top of Caston’s cats.

The lovefest won’t last for very long, however as Caston plans to release at an area park.
