Mother Duck Crosses Insanely Busy Highway With Baby Ducks (VIDEO)
If you think watching this is nerve wracking, think about how the lil ducklings felt!
Warning: Before you watch this video, you might wanna take a seat or even better, a drink. It’s not for the faint-hearted. But sometimes a mama’s got to do what a mama’s got to do.
Do you think a duck can cross a highway with a family of ducklings and arrive on the other side intact? I’d be the first to say no way, especially with the speed of a highway and the multi lanes on this one in particular.
However, this strong mama duck had to get to the other side and she’s certainly no chicken. Neither are her baby ducklings who obediently follow mama duck.
Lasting a little over a minute, the video footage was taken over an interstate in Toronto. It gives me the creeps every single time I watch it and then I’m always relieved when they make their way to safety on the other side. I
But it was a very narrow escape. In the middle of the highway, the baby ducklings seem to get blown over by wind gust from a passing truck. That’s when I thought it was all over.
Luckily, it wasn’t and they all did arrive safely on the other side getting though all 4 lanes in one piece.
