Recently my daughter and I spent a day watching Elka, the L.A. Zoo’s baby Orangutan, play with her Mama and sister. It was incredible, watching our evolutionary ancestors interact not unlike we do with our own little ones.
This video caught by a researcher for San Diego Zoo in Rwanda is a rarely seen peek at the interactions of baby non-human primates playing in the wild and definitely worth a watch.
