Whether you are a dog person or cat person, we can all agree that cats are smarts creatures indeed. Today, we bring you a story of one savvy feline who either has a strong desire to be a crossing guard or knows where to go for affection. You decide.
At Enterprise Middle School in West Richland, Washington, 15-year-old feline Sable has made it a point everyday for this past year to go out of her home when the school children go to school in the morning and when they get out, and watch over them.
The cat’s owner, Tamara Morris was afraid that she might run in the street but says that she never does. All Sable does is wait alongside the crossing guards, rub against their legs and wait for the children to come by and pet her.
