25 Cringe-Worthy Photos of Sh*t Our Pets Ruined

By Devan McGuinness |

Though Puppy and Ming-Ming are getting up there in age, they still act as young as ever. This involves running sideways as they tear through the house in the middle of the night, tearing up toilet paper rolls and scratching up my clothes. It drives me crazy, but I’ve put up with it this long and they are cats so they wont change for anything.

One of the ‘joys’ of pet-ownership and putting up with our furry-loves is dealing with their interesting habits and weird quirks. Some dogs have high anxiety and will tear through your shoes if you’re just going to get the mail and some cats want to make an example out of you for taking a little longer to get them their food by breaking your window blinds.

We love them anyway and they do give us some pretty funny stories and photos out of the sh*t the ruin. Click through to see 25 cringe-worthy photos of stuff pets have ruined:

25 Photos of Stuff Our Pets Ruined

Dye Job

"I was sitting on my bed watching tv and our Shorkie Duke jumped up to join me. I noticed his face was blue and couldn’t figure out what happened. Until I walked into the kitchen…..he had been chewing on a blue gel ink pen. There were little blue paw prints all over the floor! Our boxer Daisy was crouched in the corner looking at me like “I was NOT involved.”. Luckily, it came right up and he’s too cute to give away." - Cheri

my cat peed right in the middle of my bed one night when I was out. I guess she missed me.

  2. L says:

OMG the cat zelda looks almost exactly like My cat Einstein , can’t tell for sure since you can’t see her face

  3. Matt says:

why would you have bags of compost in your living room? Hardly seems wise.

  4. mercike says:

We had a dog that was keen on eating my mom’s “date” panties. Only the pretty ones. Never the ugly cotton kid. Of course threw them up in ten minutes.

  5. Carolyn says:

i had an ex’s dogs eat the crotch out of EVERY single pair of panties i owned. i could never have a pair at his house unless they were on me cuz even the new ones no matter what material they were, they were un wearable after any of the dogs found them. and he had 4! they even figured out how to go into drawers and bags just to get them. and yet they never touched anyone elses just mine! darn shiba unos (not sure the spelling so i did the best i could. they are a japanese breed of dog) ;p cute but bad lol

When I read, see things like this, I am more convinced than ever that I am right not to allow pets in my rental properties. People who tolerate such destructive behavior in animals are NUTS!

  6. Sara says:

One dog ate an antique rattan settee filled with cotton and horsehair. Another got so enraged at a cat who had the temerity to walk through his yard he grabbed the arm of the leather sofa and ripped it off (luckily it gave at the stitches and I could repair it). My cats have ruined any mini-blinds they come across by walking casually through them, and have chewed the cords to pieces. They’ve shredded an armchair and a leather sofa (a different one than the dog tore apart). A rescue dog ate half of the plumbing access panel off the wall. My first dog ate the toe of one of my brand-new cowboy boots and the wicker sewing basket my grandparents had given me when I was a little girl. That was the toughest one of all. Come to think of it, why DO I have pets!!!!

  7. Jeana says:

The only thing my Lab shreds is any toy that belongs to the cat. The cat has now decided to put all of his toys in the dogs food bowl then watches him get into trouble.

  8. Kathleen says:

When we got our dog, one look at her & we knew to call her “PAGAN”. It wasn’t too long after we got her she started, chewing shoes, only after we left her alone for awhile, she would chew the shoes we just had taken off, until we learned to put them up. My wife has 2 pair of work shoes, she switches everyday. She totally destroyed both of them..LOL

  9. brenda says:

My cocker ate my false teeth. I found what was left the next morning. I had to call off work and get a dentist quick because it was a Friday!

  10. sonja says:
