Two Kittens: Escape Artists In The Making (Video)

Two Kittens: Escape Artists In The Making (Video) via Babble

Pumpkin and Squash eventually master the art of the climb.

If you’re thinking of roping off your kittens to confine them to one room or keep them out of another, you might want to think again.

It seems that these two kittens, Pumpkin and Squash (how cute are those names?) had been kept behind a child’s gate in their owner’s house.

Pumpkin and Squash (and their mom April) were rescued right before they were to be euthanized. The kittens were just two weeks old at the time.

By the time the video was shot, they were seven weeks old. It was actually their last night at that home because the following morning, they were going to their new, permanent homes.

It looks like these lucky kittens learned how to climb before leaving their mama. There was a bit of a struggle in the beginning, but eventually they master the art of climbing the gate.
