"Why don't you come up and... see me sometime."

It might seem like torturing dressing dogs up in costumes is a relatively recent phenomena, but alas, no. In fact, dressing dogs up in fancy costumes was extremely common in Victorian times.

I’ve searched high and low to bring you the best of the vintage dogs in costumes, and I only included a couple of dogs pulling carts. Apparently, dogs pulling people in carts was hugely popular about 100 years ago. Well. Lord knows I would never do such a thing. Ahem.

Hope you enjoy these hilarious photos!
