Watch Sophie The French Bulldog Teach Baby to Crawl (Video)

sophie french bulldog, bulldog teaches baby to crawl, dog teaches baby to crawl, dogs and babies, Sophie Bulldog Isabel YouTube

Sophie is a patient teacher.

Anyone who says the connection that a dog has with their owner (and vice versa) is merely a lesson in obedience surely hasn’t had or loved a dog. Dogs do amazing things, from saving owners from house fires to alerting people when a medical situation is imminent.

Some even teach babies how to crawl.

You might think that babies already innately know how to crawl but that’s not always the case. Perhaps Sophie the Bulldog sensed that baby Isabel needed some help because she literally demonstrates a slow crawl. It’s some inventive parenting on mom’s part for sure.

When I first watched this video, I wondered if Sophie was hurt or if something was wrong her legs but the owner assured us on YouTube that Sophie is fully able-bodied and was demonstrating her crawling moves for baby Isabel on command.

Watch as Sophie does her best to get Isabel in motion (even though it’s clear she much rather just be kissing the cute baby).
