Who Should Play the Voice of Grumpy Cat in the Grumpy Cat Movie?

Who Will Play the Voice of Grumpy Cat in the Grumpy Cat Movie? (via Babble Pets)Grumpy Cat, the world’s most famous and lovable feline curmudgeon since Garfield, is going to star in a movie, according to Deadline Hollywood. The cat, a mixed-breed female whose real name is Tardar Sauce, has both a manager and a representative. (The manager and rep are humans, and presumably non-grumpy.)

Anyway, Grumpy Cat’s people have teamed up with Broken Road Productions, which usually brings us fine films starting Adam Sandler, Kevin James, and/or Ice Cube.

This new movie will give Grumpy Cat the power of speech, and is described by Deadline as “a Garfield-like feature film.”

Obviously, the most important question of the day is, who will play the voice of Grumpy Cat? If they want classic comedy, my top choice would be Lily Tomlin. On the other hand, we already know that Alison Brie can do Grumpy Cat quite well:

In fact, here’s a video where Alison Brie (better known as Annie  Edison on Community and Trudy Campbell on Mad Men) depicts several different Internet memes perfectly:
