10 Maternity Dresses for your Baby Shower

Our first of two, possibly three, lovely baby showers is rapidly approaching next weekend. It occurred to me today that I’m probably supposed to dress nicely, even maybe (gasp) in a dress for these events and I have exactly one dress that fits. And while I could wear that one dress for both, I’d kind of like to treat myself to something new for the occasion. And this way I’m not wearing the same dress two weeks in a row in pictures.

Because of my work hours and general exhaustion, I’ve turned to online shopping for my dress buying adventure. My only requirements are that it must be cute, it must be somewhat spring-y and it must be reasonably priced. Oh and it must be comfortable, which is going to be a bit of a gamble, given the whole online shopping part.

After a few searches of my favorite maternity wear sites, I’ve come up with 10 adorable dresses that are perfect for a spring baby shower. Now I just have to pick one and cross my fingers that it fits.

    Off the Shoulder
This off one shoulder dress caught my eye immediately. I like it because it's not just springy, it's also not matronly like some of the dresses I've come across. It says, I'm pregnant, but I can also dress my age.

    Spring is in the Air
This one looks comfortable and the flowers on the bottom lend a nice spring touch to an otherwise classy navy dress. This is one of those dresses that is just entirely my style and it's one that I'm seriously considering. It doesn't hurt that I finally have the cleavage to pull it off.

  • The LBD 4 of 10
    The LBD
I realize this one doesn't scream spring, but it is such a nice, classy dress that it really called out to me. I think it's nice for a more formal event too, which is nice, especially if you're having an evening shower.

  • Think Pink! 5 of 10
    Think Pink!
As a complete 360 from the dress before this, this pink dress is a nice light-weight springy dress for a less formal event. It's taken a long time to convert me, but I think I absolutely love wearing some of these pinks now. Check back with me again in a few weeks to see if this is just a temporary hormone shift.

    Another Little Black Dress
This is another very lightweight and casual maternity dress. I'm not entirely sure I can pull it off, but I think it's kind of fun and would be even better for those of you having summer showers.

I think this dress is adorably playful and I just about die with how cute the red shoes are with it. I like it because it's a little more exciting than some of the solid color dresses, but without being overwhelming.

This dress initially caught my eye because of the color, but the style is also just totally adorable. It can be dressy or casual and it pretty much screams spring. This one is a definite contender.
