more slide show….. :( Becoming less and less a fan

  2. Ladeelee says:

The first pic is disturbing alone. I understand the fascination with the placenta and how some parents want to ah…”preserve them” but to bring it out and remind your guests? I personally wouldn’t touch that cake, let alone eat it. LOL

  3. kat says:

WTF is wrong with people??!! Time to err on the side of not decorated enough than this smorgasbord of disturbing images.

  4. Samantha says:

Now my cake had a monkey on it too. But it was because my baby was nicknamed mom and daddy’s little monkey. His nickname now is Chunky Monkey. So the monkey cake may be because of a nickname or because the nursery is decorated in monkeys or maybe the mom just likes monkeys.

  5. Kat says:

The first was the worst, but the rainbow one was a close second. I would be horrified if someone showed up to ANY babyshower with one of these, especially mine! Oh, I also like the monkey one, thats a “Baby Shower Cake FAIL!”

  6. casey says:

I don’t know where to start.. I shuttered looking at most of these. I will say the rainbow one combined with the comment “maybe we are shot out by rainbows” made me laugh greatly.. these are all so insane. I am a cake decorator and I wouldn’t have even thought to do this.. probably wouldn’t have even taken the order.. lol

  7. Danielle says:

I have to admit that I would be secretly THRILLED to be invited to a shower where they served a cakewreck like one of these!!! The joy of showing those pics to your friends…”Yes, I swear it was real!!” Plus, it beats the “Guess what’s in the diaper” type of crappy shower games…

  8. liz says:

for the airplane one it’s a baby shower for an adopted baby….that was a little insensitive

  9. Jessica says:

Just an FYI, the cake with the rainbow is edited to have a rainbow there.(You can tell it doesn’t even look real in pic) The real cake has pubes/ girly bits on her and umbilical cord.

  10. Kara says:

I WAS over the morning sickness, until I saw the first cake and went running. PLEASE babble, PLEASE do not make pregnant women sick on a regular basis. What lacks discretion by those that made the cakes is one thing, to post it and make it even worse, entirely another.

Seriously trying to gain some weight!

  11. Valerie says:

Omg what are people thinking!? What ever happen to a normal blue or pink cake that says congratulations?!

  12. michelle says:

whilst i think these cakes are gross..i have had a good giggle with my son who also found them funny. they are just plain tacky! thanks for posting!

  13. Kim says:

As if baby showers themselves weren’t disturbing.

  14. Janelle says:

    O. M. G.!, W.T.H.? Can I come up with anymore? Holy God! These are beyond any comprehension. The fact that they exist is bad enough, but do they need screen time too?

  15. Stephanie says:

    Wow. So my opinion:

Yeah some of the cakes aren’t to my liking, big ones being the c-section and the rainbow birth, oh and can’t forget that creepy looking monkey. But the others aren’t that bad, remember this cake wasn’t made for you and everyone is different.

I guess we all just need something to critique so we can all feel a little better about ourselves.

  16. Michelle says:

    OMG. People are sick.

  17. Jen says:

Just an FYI, the first cake was not for a baby shower it was for an OBGYN’s going away party. Seems kind of fitting actually. ha!

  18. Marianna says:

Jen, I think you’re right. I looked at it and thought instantly it was for a OBGYN… Which makes a lot more sense.
