After a recent browse through the pregnancy section at Barnes & Noble, I was shocked at how few baby memory books I found on the shelves. Or at least baby books that aren’t cutesy and generic.
You have options, ladies! Options!
Of course there isn’t anything wrong with choosing a run-of-the-mill baby book to jot down “baby’s firsts” and to display your sonogram photos, but what about the parents looking for something that reflects their modern style? What about single moms who have to skip over every question about how “dad” feels and what “dad” thinks? Or what about families with two moms? Or two dads?
Again — options!
Here are 12 unique memory books that aren’t like the rest:

Mom’s Five-Second Baby Journal 3 of 12This isn't a "baby book" in the traditional sense — it's so much more. Rather than a memento for your baby to have, this is a memory-keeper for mom, filled with fun checklists, question prompts, and multiple-choice questions to capture how you're feeling/thinking/living at that moment. Jot down everything from your favorite children's books to what profession you could see for your kid. And because it's not chronological, you can just jump in and answer whichever questions inspire you at the time.
