15 Weeks Pregnant: Stats, Symptoms, and Pics

stone2603 Diana Stone |

I forgot to update my 14th week on here. O_o I realized it Saturday, when I was 15 weeks along. Then? It was suddenly Saturday again. Now I’m 16 – but we’re going to do 15 still.

15 weeks held a lot more interesting stuff anyway.

Someone remind me to get back on track with these. You know. In between being in the hospital, at the Dr, the therapist, working, and all.

———————

How Far Along: 15 weeks and 6 days!

Size of baby: A navel orange. (Bigger than a regular I guess?)

Sleep: Bella may have started finally sleeping through the night again, but I haven’t. I’m up at all hours trying to convince myself to go back to sleep. It’s the anxiety and stress of this pregnancy and getting closer to the weeks my water broke last time.

Total Weight Gain: 1lb.

Symptoms: Still nauseated. Some cravings – mostly McDonalds like with the twins. I crave their Fish Fillet which honestly is just nasty and I would never eat otherwise.

Movement: Yes! I have started to feel this little one press up against me when I’m resting.

Maternity Clothes: All maternity. All the time. I have missed some of these cute pieces so much. Being pregnant is like all of the sudden remembering you have an entire closet full of clothes you forgot about.

Go-to eats: Fish Fillets. Cereal. French fries. Fruit.

Best moment of the week: Seeing our baby on 3D again with tiny fingers! And finally getting the cerclage over with.

Gender: YES. But we’re not announcing publicly yet.

What I’m looking forward to: Sam’s finally home, and on top of being an incredible help, he’s also just nice to have around again!

Milestones: Baby can hear!

And 5 days! This has to be my absolute favorite shirt while pregnant. I love it.

  • Cerclage Day

    Cerclage Day

Ugh. What a Monday that was. You can read about it more here, but thankfully it's in and over.

  • New Hair

    New Hair

I took Bella to a local children's salon to get a much needed hair cut. The stylist suggested a bob and oh - how adorable (and so much easier!) it is on her.

  • Baby's First Gift

    Baby's First Gift

A sweet friend online Jess from My Little Moustache handmade this and sent it to me in a care package. It lays on my nightstand as a reminder of what I'm hoping and praying for.

  • Down Time

    Down Time

El Paso may have pretty horrid summers, but the winters are lovely. I've spent a lot of time outside reading while Bella plays with our dog.

  • Playdates

    Playdates

Such an important part of being a work from home mom and Bella not being in a preschool/daycare setting. I try to do at least 1-2 playdates each week with little friends her age. This week we had a dinner picnic.

  • Shots Shots Shots (and Pills)

    Shots Shots Shots (and Pills)

Daily, although 2 of these were temporary and now over. The shot of Lovenox is what gets me. It doesn't hurt until the medicine goes in. Then it stings like crazy.

  • Tiny Friendships

    Tiny Friendships

Nothing warms my heart more than seeing Bella and her close in age friend playing together. We were at the Cracker Barrel meeting up with friends that evening.

  • Temper Tantrums

    Temper Tantrums

Lest you think life is all rosy and Nashville filters on Instagram ;) we certainly do have our moments here. This night Bella absolutely fell apart because Charlie (our dog) smelled bad and this was apparently unacceptable.

  • Countdown

    Countdown

Our countdown clock to Sam coming home after 7 weeks at training in Georgia! Bella didn't understand the concept of 2 days so she just help up her fingers and said, "2 minutes!"

  • Snuggles

    Snuggles

The night before Sam came home I tried (once again) to see if co-sleeping with a cranky Bella might work. For once - it actually did. She completely passed out. We don't do this often because at 6am she decided she'd had enough.

  • Today is the Day!

    Today is the Day!

We headed to the airport to pick up Daddy! Our sitter had Bella make this darling sign for him, and she held it and tiny airplanes she made so high while anxiously trying to find him.

  • 3D at 15 weeks

    3D at 15 weeks

BABY! So, so much fun to get these 3D shots of our little one almost every week. What a special thing it is to have that encouragement and relief in knowing things are ok so often.
