It’s June! It’s really June! I’m having a baby in June! That means this June will be the best June in the history of Junes! It will be even better than the June my family and I went on a cycling trip through Italy and we had that amazing dinner in Florence where I got tiramisu so delicious that it makes me drool just thinking about it even though that was 8 years ago. It was that good.
But I digress.
Even though June is the month I’ll be delivering, it won’t be until the end of the month instead of, like, next week or something amazing like that. I still have a lot of days to mark off on my calendar before I get to hold my baby for the first time. While that’s a big reward at the end of the long process, it’s still a ways off. And I? Am not always patient. In order to sweeten up these last few weeks of pregnancy, I’m going to plan a few little treats for myself. Nothing major, just a few activities and outings to pamper myself and make me feel a little special.
