A Conception Story: Finally, a Show for Women Like Me

In the year that we struggled to conceive our first baby, I watched every single episode of A Baby Story ever filmed. Probably twice.

I agonized over those gorgeous babies and cried endless tears at the thought of never having one of my own.

A Baby Story offered a window into a life that I so desperately wanted.

My struggles were made worse by the ease with which the majority of these women got pregnant.

Each time I caught an episode where the couple had difficulty conceiving, I wanted to hug them, because they gave me hope.

What I really needed at the time was a show for women like me…a show like TLC.com’s series, A Conception Story: Six Journeys To Pregnancy.

TLC.com and First Response® are gearing up for a second season of A Conception Story, a web series that focuses on 6 diverse couples as they try to conceive.

The series premieres today and continues for the next 8 months. Through video journals, each couple will discuss all aspects of conception, from deciding to have a baby to the heartache from the difficulties they face on the journey.

I’m impressed that TLC.com is offering programming for those of us who struggle to get pregnant and I’m eager to check out this series.

What do you think? Will you watch?
