Sister, Sister star Tia Mowry has given birth to her first child, a son.
The 32-year-old actress had the boy today in Los Angeles, with her husband of two years, Cory Hardrict by her side
Mowry starred opposite her identical twin, Tamera, in the ’90s sitcom and now appears on BET’s The Game.
Although baby has already arrived, as Being Pregnant has already reported, Mowry’s pregnancy will be televised when she and her twin sister Tamera return to the airwaves on their new reality show, Tia & Tamera, premiering in August on the Style Network.
When revealing the pregnancy to Us Magazine the couple said they’d been wanting a baby for a long time.
“He cooks for me every day,” Mowry told Us. “My doctor said I’m gaining too much weight, but Cory says, ‘It’s for the baby!’ It’s really sweet.”
Adds the proud papa: “Just thinking about my child coming here brings a tear to my eyes and I will try to be the best father in the universe!”
No word on a name yet. Congratulations to the happy couple!
