Baby Loss Keepsakes

miscarriage keepsake Losing a baby — whether it’s in utero, during childbirth or months later — is tragic. There’s really no other word to describe the hardest thing a mother will ever have to endure. I’m lucky to have never personally experienced that, but I’ve known women who miscarried in the first trimester, a woman who lost her baby at 22 weeks and another women who lost her baby after 3 months.

There’s a sadness, a profound loss, that they’ll have to carry with them forever. And while there’s nothing that can really lessen that burden, that heartache, having some kind of keepsake might help keep their baby’s memory alive.
