Emily, my husband and I have been using cloth diapers on our 6 month old son since he was about 1 month old. We have tried Bumgenius and Fuzzibunz and much prefer the Bumgenius (with snaps – they don’t wear out like velcro does). We have had leakage problems with the Fuzzibunz, but no problems at all with the Bumgenius. And they are so easy to use that even our daycare has had no problems. Also, just a tip — when the diapers get stained, just leave them out in the sun and the stains almost always disappear

I’m not pregnant, and my husband and I hope to wait another 3 years or so before having children. But I want to cloth diaper once we do. I honest to goodness just had to convince myself that while it is a great deal it would be crazy of me to purchase these diapers now (just because of the great sale!) and save them for 3 years. No joke, I was on the website with the cloth diapers in a shopping cart. Haha. The things a sale can (almost!) convince you to do! I’m glad you’re going to be able to take advantage of the sale! Brittany I did the same thing! I kept thinking, “Well I’m going to get them eventually…” but I couldn’t imagine the look on my boyfriend’s face if he opened the mail and there were cloth diapers in there!!!
Hi Emily! I think it is great you are researching cloth diapers. There are a few sites that also offer cloth diaper trial packages. Every baby is different, but I found for my son that using a sized diaper while they are newborn and then moving onto a one sized as he hit around the 6 month mark.
