Staying Hydrated With Your Phone

Better than a nagging phone call from your mother.

The importance of drinking water is no secret. Everyone needs to make sure they are getting in enough fluids daily. Making sure you stay properly hydrated is incredibly important to good health. It is especially important for pregnant and nursing mothers. However, knowing you need to drink water is often vastly different than actually getting in the water that you need on a daily basis.

Remembering to drink water sounds simple enough but I can’t tell you how many nights I’ve looked back at the day and realized just how little water I’ve consumed. Coffee? Yes. A glass of cola? Sure. Water? No. No. No.

If only I had somebody to remind me throughout the day. You feel me, right?

Well, guess what? Thanks to the some great apps for your smartphone you can now get that reminder that you need to drink your water.

There are apps for both Android and iPhone users and many do more than just remind you to drink up. You can set daily goals and be rewarded for hitting that goal each day. Or take a look at graphs of your drinking history to see how you are doing over time. Download one of them today and get drinking! Your body will thank you for it.
