Infertility and Hope: A Few New Things to Try

Giving up caffeine is just one of the things I've tried.

One of the most difficult things to cope with when struggling with infertility is the way that you come to feel so completely helpless.

You reach a point where whenever you see an article on ways to increase your chances of getting pregnant, you can’t read it fast enough.

The list of things that I wouldn’t do to get pregnant is pretty short and I am forever hunting for the one thing that I can do that will actually make a difference for us.

So, when I saw the link for Trying to Conceive: 10 ways to increase your fertility, I couldn’t click over quickly enough.

As I worked my way through the list, I was mentally checking off the things that we’ve already done.

Cut out caffeine, check.

Take up yoga. Yep, check.

Make dietary changes. Check.

But there are a few things on the list that I haven’t tried and I feel like I’ve hit the jackpot.

That’s the thing with infertility.

For me, feeling as though I have some sense of control is the key to holding onto what’s left of my sanity.

If you’re struggling with infertility, you might just find something on the list that you haven’t tried yet.

Like I said, I’m willing to try just about anything at this point.
