Lean Cuisine Recall: Pregnant Ladies Check Your Freezers!

By MonicaBielanko |

For the first six months of my pregnancy I lived off Lean Cuisine pizzas. I’m not kidding, y’all. I had Lean Cuisines falling out of my purse every day and was monopolizing half the freezer at work.

You do not want to be unarmed when that pregnancy hunger strikes. People could get hurt.

If you are constantly armed with Lean Cuisines to satisfy a craving or keep the pregnancy hunger at bay, there’s a recall you need to know about.

Nestle has recalled some packages of Lean Cuisine Simple Favorites Spaghetti with Meatballs over fears they may contain pieces of red plastic.

The recalled packages bear the UPC code 13800-10390 with the production code 0298595519 P, the company said on its website.

The recall was announced after some customers reported finding the plastic pieces in the meatball portion of the entree. No injuries were reported.

The product should not be eaten, the company said. Customers who bought it can contact Nestle at 866 606 8264 or at leancuisine@casupport.com for more information and to receive a coupon for a replacement entree.
