Mariah's Million Dollar Babies

I was reading my trash mags in the hospital while in labor and came across an article about how much money Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon are reportedly spending to get ready for their twins.  As you can imagine, the number is mind-blowing.

Star Magazine claims an “inside source” tells them the couple have spent around a million bucks already.  Here’s the break down:

Wardrobe: $150,000 – Mariah loves Dior , Armani Junior’s baby line and Escada Baby.  Yeesh.  Who knew Dior and Armani even had a baby line?  Do they have newborn fragrances as well?  You know, to cover up the poop smell?

Cribs: Mariah picked up two Magestic Carriage cribs which retail for – wait for it – $20,000!  What the? I went ahead and linked to it there in case you had an extra twenty grand lying around and wanted to pick one up. They ship in 10-12 weeks so you better hurry!

Diaper Bag: $2,000 – The baby’s section has three pockets with elastic straps to hold bottles and containers safely in place.  Because the ones for $29.99 at Babies-R-Us don’t have that, you know?  So it’s totally worth the extra $1,971 for those three pockets and straps.

Stroller: Mariah reportedly splashed out for the Roddler stroller by Kid Kustoms which she custom-designed with an iPod dock and DVD player. I would personally opt for the one with ultra-suede inserts because you can never have too much suede when dealing with a newborn and the various fluids constantly being emitted from their little bodies.

Tiffany Duck Bank: Finally, what newborn’s life would be complete without a sterling silver duck bank from Tiffany? I’m picking mine up as soon as I finish writing this.

Although Mariah hasn’t revealed her due date she is expecting twins, a boy and a girl, sometime in the Spring.
