Maternity Jeans that Fit Before, During and After Pregnancy. (Win a Pair!)

I had two huge complaints about maternity jeans: 1) They didn’t fit right, and 2) I refused to wear maternity clothes that I would only wear for mere months of my life — and expensive ones, at that. Oh how I would have loved to rock a pair of these brilliant Hope maternity jeans. In fact, I’d probably still be wearing them.

Find out why we love these jeans and how to WIN a pair of your own…

After searching through all of the major department stores, I came to the conclusion that the only well-fitting maternity jeans must be designer. But I absolutely refused to spend hundreds on a pair of maternity jeans to wear for a few months of pregnancy style. Nope. So what did I do? I took an elastic hair tie, fastened it to my pre-pregnancy jeans and wore an extra long shirt to cover my rigged waistband.

Well Salsa Fits My Life now makes the Hope Maternity Jean, which my Family Style colleague, Elina, brilliantly discovered. The skinny jeans come with a detachable waistband that extends through pregnancy, and can then be removed once you’re back to your pre-pregnancy self. And the fact that these designer jeans are going for $114 is actually a deal considering you won’t have to buy an extra pair of maternity jeans to wear and toss.

Still reluctant to spend cash on maternity clothes? (I was!) Leave a comment on our Family Style post and enter to win a pair!
