    Hashtag
When this one came into the light, there was a lot of press over this child being named Hashtag. While it's not one that I would personally give to my kids, I really don't think it's that bad. Though, it is pretty outrageous.

That's quite the mouthful, isn't it? I am all for multiple middle names (each of my children have 2), but this one must have some deep family meaning or they just could not come to an agreement.

  • Beretta 3 of 6
    Beretta
A name for a firearm, this name made the press when Bristol Palin's ex, Levi Johnson had a daughter and announced that Beretta was her middle name. That's a pretty intense name for anyone and feels even more so for a girl.

Some people just think their child is born for royalty and instead of ignoring that feeling due to blood line, they give their child a fitting name. According to Namberry, the name Kingsolomon has been given to 5 boys in the US. Also, there are girls named Milady.

  • Katniss 5 of 6
    Katniss
If you loved the book and then the movie adaptation "The Hunger Games", you may feel inclined to name your daughter after the lead character, Katniss. While I don't think the name is totally horrible, given the popularity of the series, everyone will connect the inspiration.

  • Blue 6 of 6
    Blue
This one made a huge deal when Beyonce and Jay-Z announced the name of their daughter Blue Ivy earlier this year. There was an almost-as-big-stink when Gwenyth named her daughter Apple. I kind of like the name Blue and according to Nameberry, other color names are on the rise (like Silver).
