I don’t want to get all judgy about diaper bags here, but it just has to be said:
Most of them are ugly.
What adult wants to carry around a bag with little fluffy, pink bunnies on it? My guess is very few. And if you’ve got a husband like mine, he’ll probably refuse to carry anything that looks even remotely cutesy. Not that I blame him – it’s not like fluffy, pink bunnies are exactly my style either. So, what exactly am I looking for you may wonder? Well, I’m looking for a NON-diaper bag.
My purchasing criteria is as follows:
1. Must look good with an adult wardrobe.
2. Must be able to be used post-diapering (i.e. I’d actually want to use it as a regular bag).
Basically, I don’t want to waste money on a “diaper bag”. I’d rather just find a bag I like that just-so-happens to also be practical as a diaper bag. So, on that note, I’ve come up with a list of my 5 favorite non-diaper bags….
