None in the Oven: Laughter and Infertility {Video}

I’ve written before about how there are so many times when you’re struggling with infertility when you have to laugh or you’ll simply cry.

And for me, the best laughs usually come from things that are based in truth…in common experiences.

Today, I checked out the first webisode of None in the Oven and nodded and giggled through the entire five-minute show.

Kristen Sullivan, who has also suffered from infertility, partnered with writer-director Heather Hillstrom and producer Sarah Rath to create the comedy web series based on some of Kristen’s personal experiences.

In a press release announcing the show, which premiered on October 3rd, Sullivan explained,

“Infertility is rarely talked about in movies or on TV, yet most people know someone who has struggled with it in some capacity…We saw an opportunity to make a web series that a lot of people could relate to especially when we looked back and realized how funny our experiences had been.”

I’m looking forward to episode two, but for now, I thought I’d share the first in what will be a series of six.

I hope this brightens your day a bit and helps you to feel less alone…
