Operation "Put Baby In Uterus" — Our Month 2 Update

It feels weird sometimes updating on our trying to conceive journey, but I really am excited to share it with you all. I know I am not the only one going through the frustrations of BBT, timing and the 2 week wait and it’s nice to know that I can commiserate with you on all those things we don’t normally talk about publically.  Since I successfully gave the husband baby fever and we are officially trying for baby #4, this month has been quite a whirlwind for reasons outside the added pressure of trying to conceive.

I have been charting since we removed birth control almost a year ago, so returning to the temperature taking for baby-making was not anything new for us. I will admit, it was weird to try to be together on the days leading up to ovulation instead of avoiding each other, but this month proved to be challenging for other reasons.

Our youngest child, Bean has been sick for a few weeks — during the ovulation time, she had just started getting sick and had a high fever, was crazy clingy and that meant co-sleeping and bed-sharing again, which can put a hinder on things, ya know. We are stealthy and according to our chart we still had a ‘high chance’ of conception this month.

Despite getting down on the right days and the chart looking favorable for implantation — we are not pregnant this month. Not that I am really surprised and upset — it was a stressful month for us and we didn’t really have a big investment into this moth being ‘the one’ for us. So, we’re on to the next month — it will be nice to have a third February baby anyway (yea, we’re crazy).
