Our Naming Endeavour Continues… What Should Our Son's Middle Name Be??

Last week, I posted on our endeavor to find the perfect name for our son. My husband and I were having such a hard time committing to a name that we hired Elisabeth Wilborn, a Professional Baby Name Consultant.

After getting to know my husband and I a little better, Elisabeth came up with a FABULOUS list of names for our son. Well, this past weekend my hubby and I sat down with her list, and really took the time to go through each name. When we had gone through the whole list, we both realized that we were both more attached to the name we have been semi-mulling over for months, Johnny.

It seems as though looking at a large batch of names actually helped us realize the name Johnny was true love, and I thank Elisabeth for that! It feels so good to have finally chosen his name, but now there is his middle name to pick!

We want something simple, and we are not tied to family names as middle names. What goes well with Johnny? Something with one or two syllables? Something Southerny-sounding too? I have no idea. If we give him the name Johnny with no intentions of ever calling him John, should we give him a more adult-friendly middle name?

All I have to say is thank goodness for Elisabeth! She is amazing at keeping all of our ideas organized, and really takes the time to research and come up with meaningful names. I’m sure she will help us find the perfect middle name for our son.

Stay tuned to see what Elisabeth comes up with!
