Those who know me well, know that I am not a fan of anything scary. I don’t like Halloween. I don’t like scary movies. I spook very easily. I don’t like ghost stories. And FORGET about those creepyscarypossessedevil kid characters. Those twins from The Shining? That image haunts me whenever I’m in a hotel hallway. Rosemary’s Baby? Quite possibly the scariest movie. Ever.
Nothing is worse than spooky kids and babies. At least, that’s what I always thought. And then…
Then, I found this article on The Stir, and I quickly realized that, yes, something is scarier: spooky paranormal pregnancies.
After I somehow made it through the article about the creepy things that happened during pregnancies, I recalled my own hair-raising, chilling experience after my twins past away, which you’ll read about when you click through!
Did anything bizarre happen to you during your pregnancy? I’d love to hear about it!
My Own Spooky Story
The day that I returned home from the hospital after I lost my twins at 17 weeks pregnant, my dog, Darla, was acting very strange. She stood in the center of our living room (while I sat on the couch) and she looked up to the ceiling. There was nothing on the ceiling; she was just staring. After about a minute in, my mother (who had stayed with us through the ordeal) cried and said that Darla was saying goodbye to the babies up in heaven. Our dog continued to stare up at nothing for almost 10 minutes. She has never again done anything like this.
