Top 50 Pregnancy EssentialsWhen asked to compile a list of the 50 most essential items for pregnancy, I was about 39 weeks pregnant and ready to pop with my second baby. Having gone through two pregnancies pretty much back-to-back and feeling like I had been pregnant for two years straight, it wasn't too hard to compile this list simply because these are all items that were extremely useful to me. I hope they prove useful to you, as well. If I've left out an item that you loved or found to be essential during your pregnancy, make sure to tell us here. - Stevee Curtis

Increased estrogen levels during pregnancy can contribute to swelling in the mucous membranes lining your nose, leaving you stuffy and congested. What’s more, the increase of blood in your body during pregnancy can also cause swelling in the tiny blood vessels in your nose. Lovely, right? Thanks to all this swelling, you may not be able to breathe as well as you once did, you know, pre-pregnancy. Rather than sit in a steamy bathroom, I recommend non-medicated nasal strips. They provide sinus relief and gently open up your nasal passages so you can breathe through your nose a little easier while you sleep, or at least while you’re trying to sleep.
