This video made my day. It’s an ingenious example of stop-motion video–a full 40 weeks of pregnancy edited down to a couple minutes– created by an artist whose work (including another incredible piece on pregnancy) can be seen at pacingthepanicroom.com. This particular video is of his wife Cole during her second pregnancy. It’s gorgeous and cheerful and beautifully executed. It’s also an homage to the great, non-maternity maternity clothing chain American Apparel. (American Apparel clothes are featured in every shot and my how they do stretch.) The accompanying song, “Magic” was written by a friend especially for the project–this was a true artistic collaboration.
