15 Hilarious Pregnancy Demotivational Posters

"Facebook, Twitter, THEN hold your newborn"

We all need a good laugh once in a while and pregnancy can offer some good humor. From the idea of how we get pregnant to what it does to our bodies – a giggle here and there is inevitable and healthy.

Have you heard of “demotivational” posters? The anti-motivation posters these poke fun sarcastically and often write things that are uncomfortable.  While surfing the internet yesterday I came across some great ones for pregnancy that made me feel like I would die of laughter.  A much needed giggle-fit for me.

Some of these are funny. Some of these are transphobic, and that kinda ruins this post.

  2. Mary B. says:

Agreed with Bunnytwenty. While I love a good demotivational poster, taking cheap shots at trans families isn’t funny.

  3. Devan McGuinness says:

HI BunnyTwenty & Mary B. It was never my intention to take cheap shots at the transgender community. Honestly, the second slide I didnt even realize could have been a transgender couple (i thought it was a man with a big stomach). Thank you for encouraging me to be more aware in the future & I apologize for having offended you.

  4. Brittany says:

I got a good laugh out of all of them. Some people just need to lighten up.

  5. Lori says:

I just thought they weren’t that funny, I wasn’t offended. Maybe it is to early in the morning…

  6. Bunnytwenty says:

Devan: I would suggest taking down the transphobic ones off of this post (there are a few). When you present those kinds of messages as jokes, it encourages people to think that it’s okay, which leads to actual cruelty to actual people, and supporting public policies that hurt real people. Right now, it may seem like a “lighten up” moment, but it has real consequences. Do the right thing.

  7. Mel W. says:

Also note that grammar problems are not funny.

Or making fun of teen pregnancy. All around it was not a funny post.

  8. jen says:

the 1st pic made me laugh but i would also like to request that you remove the ones with transgendered couples. it’s just not funny or necessary… i understand it wasn’t intentional to begin with, but now that you know, would you mind removing them? thanks for your time & efforts to make us laugh!

  9. natalie says:

These are all pretty dumb, some gross and some downright offensive. I’m not laughing…

  10. Kate says:

    The `priorities`one was scary true.

  11. sarah says:

Some of these are kind of odd, but I have seen most of them before floating around the internet. You shouldn’t have to take some of these pictures down from your post just because a few people don’t like them, its your post and you should keep it up here. If other people don’t like it then they don’t have to look at it. “bunnytwenty”, how does a few pictures of “transgendered, or not, turn into “cruelty”?. I am assuming that you are not OK with male/male couples, since you are bashing this post for even having these sort of pictures posted on here.

  12. jennifer says:

I see all these people saying take down the “trans phobic” pictures…first of all if you don’t think its funny don’t look…and second of all I dont care how much one may look like a man…if you carry a baby, have a uterus and a vagina, and push a baby out of your vagina you are a woman. Men don’t have a vagina they were born with a penis…

  13. Bunnytwenty says:

See? The presence of these pictures gives people permission to say transphobic crap (see: Jennifer’s post). Take ‘em down.

  14. MrsM says:

The second photo leaves me not laughing–but absolutely IRATE. How dare you support ANY sort of derogatory slander against ANY part of the LGTBQ community. I have been a happy follower up until this very moment. My husband is transgender. He transitioned while we were engaged and I stood by his side in full support–because I love him, because he is still human. I am beyond disappointed that you have chosen to spread such hatred, especially in the form of comedy.
