Princess Beatrice's Hat, Explained

It's an ovary, it's a fallopian tube, it's a hat!

I have successfully avoided all Royal Wedding coverage but this picture slipped under my barbed wire fence of anti-Royal sentiment, and now I feel compelled to share it.

Because obviously Princess Beatrice’s remarkable, beige headdress is an homage to the multi-talented female reproductive system.
